Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Organizational Development Specialist for a Pretoria-based financial services institution. This fully remote role allows contributing to OD initiatives from anywhere in South Africa, collaborating with senior leaders and HR teams to drive organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Organizational Development, HR, or related field.
• Experience designing and delivering OD programs including leadership development and change management.
• Strong OD theories, models, and methodologies.
• Excellent facilitation, training, and consulting skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and assessment tools for organizational effectiveness.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology, HR, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement OD programs including talent management, leadership development, and change management initiatives.
• Assess organizational needs and identify opportunities for improvement in structure, processes, and culture.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to support employee development and skill enhancement.
• Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace satisfaction.
• Support the implementation of change initiatives with effective communication and stakeholder buy-in.
• Conduct research on OD best practices and industry trends to inform program development.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of OD interventions and report on key metrics.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to integrate OD strategies into broader HR functions.
• Contribute to developing a strong organizational culture aligned with company values.
