Job summary

Placements24 seeks a vigilant NOC Analyst to monitor the national network remotely, ensuring availability and performance of telecommunications services. You will be the first line of defense, diagnosing incidents and coordinating with engineers to restore services quickly.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, 1–3 years in NOC/IT, experience with SolarWinds, Nagios or Zabbix, and strong troubleshooting along with clear communication for remote teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in IT or related field.
• 1–3 years in a NOC or IT support role.
• Exposure to network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, performance, and service availability using NOC tools.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve incidents per procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers promptly.
• Document all events and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on network devices.
• Communicate status and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
