Placements24 seeks a vigilant NOC Analyst to monitor the national network remotely, ensuring availability and performance of telecommunications services. You will be the first line of defense, diagnosing incidents and coordinating with engineers to restore services quickly.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, 1–3 years in NOC/IT, experience with SolarWinds, Nagios or Zabbix, and strong troubleshooting along with clear communication for remote teamwork.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and technically adept Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join their team, operating remotely to support their national network infrastructure. This role is critical for monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving incidents, and ensuring the continuous availability of telecommunications services. You will be the first line of defense against network disruptions, working collaboratively with engineers and support teams to maintain optimal operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, system performance, and service availability using various NOC tools.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network and system incidents according to established procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or relevant support teams in a timely manner.
• Document all network events, incidents, and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
• Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance tasks on network devices.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding network status and incident updates.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a NOC environment or similar IT support role.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
