Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join their fully remote operations team. You will monitor network performance, respond to alerts, and collaborate with engineering to maintain the availability of a large telecoms network.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar IT support role.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG) and basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with incident management and ticketing systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, availability, and security using advanced NOC monitoring tools and platforms.
• Respond promptly to network alerts and incidents, performing initial troubleshooting and diagnosis to determine root causes.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or relevant teams, providing detailed information and tracking resolution progress.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks on network devices and systems to ensure operational stability.
• Document all network events, actions taken, and resolutions in the incident management system.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and, when necessary, external parties regarding network status and impact.
