Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Network Support Technician to join our IT operations team. This fully remote role involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and assisting users with network-related problems from your location.

The ideal candidate will diagnose issues remotely, possess strong communication skills, and be committed to maintaining seamless network operations and high user satisfaction while supporting routers, switches, VPNs, and Wi-Fi

Qualifications

Proven experience in network support or a related IT role.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and remote desktop applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues remotely.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective user support.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for network connectivity issues, routers, switches, and Wi‑Fi devices.
Monitor network performance and identify potential problems or bottlenecks.
Assist end‑users with troubleshooting network access and performance issues via phone, email, and remote tools.
Document support requests, resolutions, and system configurations accurately.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement network upgrades and improvements.
