Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Network Installation Technician to support clients' network infrastructure from a remote location. You will guide customers and on-site personnel through setup, configuration and troubleshooting of network equipment to ensure reliable connectivity.

The role emphasizes clear remote guidance, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to diagnose issues using remote tools, documenting cases, and escalating complex problems to senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network protocols.
• Experience with remote support tools.
• Excellent remote communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical assistance for installation and configuration of network hardware and software.
• Guide clients and on-site technicians through network setup, testing, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Diagnose connectivity, performance, and hardware issues using remote tools.
• Document support cases and network configurations in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and collaborate on solutions.
