Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Network Infrastructure Technician to support client networks from a home office, enabling reliable performance and security nationwide. You will deploy, configure, and troubleshoot core devices, while documenting architectures and collaborating with clients.

The role emphasizes remote work proficiency, strong TCP/IP knowledge, and experience with monitoring tools; CCNA/CCNP or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in network administration or infrastructure support.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and security basics.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools like Nagios or Zabbix.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and remote communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Remotely deploy, configure, and manage routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and security issues.
• Apply updates, patches, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
• Create and maintain network diagrams and configurations.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to design tailored network solutions.
