Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an On-Site & Remote Installation Specialist to guide clients through installing and configuring advanced systems. The role blends remote hands-on assistance with on-site coordination, delivering seamless deployments across regions.

You will troubleshoot, demo configurations, document procedures, and support onboarding while maintaining a current knowledge base for remote installation processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installation, configuration or support with emphasis on remote assistance.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software installation processes.
• Proficiency with remote desktop tools, communication platforms and diagnostic software.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving in a virtual environment.
• Exceptional communication to guide clients effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously on multiple remote installation projects.
• Technical background or relevant certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert remote guidance for installation and setup of company equipment and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation via remote access.
• Conduct virtual walkthroughs and demonstrations of system configuration and operation.
• Document installation procedures, client interactions and resolutions meticulously.
• Collaborate with sales and support teams for smooth client onboarding.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge base articles for remote installations.
• Escalate complex issues to specialized teams when remote resolution is not feasible.
