Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Installation and Configuration Specialist to guide clients through software and hardware deployment from a fully remote workspace. You will configure settings, perform initial testing, and ensure successful deployment with clear, patient communication.

The role requires strong IT knowledge, familiarity with remote tools, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Qualifications

Candidates must have proven experience in technical installation, configuration, or a similar support role.
Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and software applications.
Familiarity with remote access and support tools is essential.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to explain technical processes clearly.
Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote assistance and guidance for the installation of client systems and software.
Configure hardware and software settings according to client specifications and company standards.
Perform initial system testing and validation to ensure successful implementation and functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve any setup or configuration issues encountered during the installation process.
Document all installation procedures, configurations, and resolutions in the client management system.
Educate clients on basic system operation and maintenance procedures remotely.
