Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Project Coordinator to support project managers in planning, execution and closure of modular construction projects. This fully remote role operates within South Africa, coordinating with design, manufacturing, logistics and onsite teams.

You will manage documentation, meetings, budgets and supplier relations while maintaining strong communication across stakeholders in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in construction or manufacturing.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with PM software (Asana, Trello, MS Project) and collaboration tools (Slack, Teams).
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Degree or diploma in Business Administration or Project Management is advantageous.
• Reliable internet and a dedicated home office setup.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
• Track project progress and report on KPIs, deviations, and risks.
• Manage project documentation in a centralized digital system.
• Support procurement, budgets, and invoice processing.
• Ensure compliance with policies and project requirements.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements in a remote setting.
