Placements24 is seeking a motivated Remote Business Development Representative to join our expanding sales team. This fully remote position supports growth from home, serving the Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape region and beyond.

You will identify and qualify potential new business leads, set up introductory meetings, and hand leads to the senior sales team. A proactive approach and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales development, lead generation, or customer service role is a plus, but not strictly required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and concisely.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Proficiency with common office software and eagerness to learn new technologies, especially CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and research potential new business opportunities through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry databases.
• Engage with prospective clients via phone, email, and social media to introduce our client's offerings and generate interest.
• Qualify leads based on established criteria, ensuring they align with our client's target market and sales objectives.
• Schedule introductory meetings and product demonstrations for the senior sales team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions and progress in the CRM system.
• Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies and messaging.
• Achieve and exceed monthly targets for qualified leads generated.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in remote sales and business development.
