Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Business Development Specialist to identify and pursue new opportunities across South Africa. Working entirely remotely, you will build partnerships, generate leads, and drive revenue growth through strategic outreach and tailored value propositions.

You will research potential clients nationwide, initiate contact via email, phone and social media, qualify leads, and schedule meetings for the senior sales team.

Qualifications

Proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with CRM software and remote sales tools.
Self-motivated with excellent time-management.

Responsibilities

Identify and research new nationwide clients via remote channels.
Initiate contact with prospects by email, phone, and social media.
Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings for senior sales team.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in target industries.
Track lead generation activities and report in the CRM.
Collaborate with marketing to craft effective outreach campaigns.
