Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Credit Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will lead a team of credit analysts, evaluate borrower creditworthiness, and shape credit policies.

The role emphasizes strong financial analysis, risk modeling, and regulatory compliance in a growing financial services setting. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in credit analysis or underwriting, with leadership experience, and a deep understanding of financial statement analysis and cash flow

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts, providing guidance and oversight on credit assessments.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and other relevant data to evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers.
• Develop and recommend appropriate credit structures, terms, and conditions for loans and other credit facilities.
• Monitor the credit quality of the loan portfolio and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of credit scoring models and risk assessment methodologies.
• Prepare comprehensive credit reports and present recommendations to the credit committee.
• Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
