Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a related banking role.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Familiarity with credit risk management software and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other data to assess the credit risk of individuals and businesses.
• Develop and implement credit scoring models and risk assessment methodologies.
• Monitor the credit performance of existing loan portfolios, identifying potential issues and recommending proactive measures.
• Approve or reject loan applications based on established credit policies and risk appetites.
• Prepare detailed credit memos and reports for management review.
• Stay updated on credit risk best practices, regulatory changes, and market trends.
