Placements24 is seeking a Lead Real Estate Investment Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will lead a dedicated team of analysts, drive rigorous financial analysis, and guide investment decisions across office, retail, and residential assets.

The role requires a Master's degree and 8+ years in real estate investment analysis, with 2+ years in leadership. Expect sophisticated models, market research, and collaboration with brokers, appraisers, and legal counsel.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years in real estate investment analysis, with at least 2 years in leadership/supervision.
• Expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies (DCF, cap rates), and sensitivity analysis.
• Deep understanding of real estate markets, property types, and investment structures.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team in a remote work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis software and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial analysis and due diligence for potential real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including office, retail, and residential properties.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast property performance, returns, and risks.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare investment memorandums, valuation reports, and presentations for senior management.
• Supervise and mentor a team of junior investment analysts.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external parties to gather information and facilitate transactions.
• Monitor the performance of existing investments and recommend value-enhancement strategies.
• Stay abreast of economic conditions, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
