Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit risk analysis or financial analysis within banking/financial services.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with statistical modeling experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R or similar languages; Excel expertise required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and monitor credit risk models and scoring systems.
• Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess borrower creditworthiness.
• Prepare reports on portfolio risk, trends, and potential concerns.
• Recommend credit policies to enhance risk management.
• Collaborate with loan officers and underwriting teams on new applications.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of default.
• Research regulatory changes and industry best practices.
