Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Risk Management Specialist for a fully remote role in the Banking & Finance sector. You will identify, assess and mitigate risks across the organization, shape risk policy and oversee ERM frameworks from a distributed team.

The ideal candidate has strong quantitative skills, broad regulatory knowledge, and a proven ability to communicate complex risk concepts to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of risk management experience in financial services.
• FRM/PRM or equivalent is valued.
• Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks.
• Identify, assess, and quantify various risks.
• Design and execute risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor KRIs and report to senior management.
• Conduct risk assessments for new products/services.
• Facilitate risk management training.
• Liaise with auditors and regulators on risk matters.
• Maintain risk registers and incident management processes.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
