Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a Senior Digital Learning Specialist to design, develop and implement engaging online courses and resources for a remote-first education technology provider.

You will collaborate with SMEs, translate complex information into clear content, manage multiple projects, and optimize learning experiences across LMS platforms, applying ADDIE/SAM and multimedia learning theories.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Education or related field and 5+ years in digital learning design.
• Strong instructional design background with solid understanding of ADDIE/SAM models.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and LMS administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging e-learning modules, courses, and digital materials using a variety of authoring tools.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate complex information into clear, accessible learning content.
• Facilitate the integration of digital learning solutions across multiple platforms with a seamless user experience.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and recommend interventions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning programs using data and feedback for improvements.
• Stay current with trends in digital learning and instructional design and suggest innovative approaches.
• Provide training and support to educators and learners on digital tools and platforms.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery of high-quality learning solutions.
