Placements24 is seeking a skilled Technical Support Agent to join a distributed, fully remote team. You will assist clients remotely, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction and clear communication.

Based in a remote environment, you will collaborate with IT professionals, document resolutions, and guide users through step-by-step fixes, with emphasis on user empowerment and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Technical Support role, preferably remote.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS and Office productivity software.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Patient, customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
• High school diploma or equivalent; IT certifications are a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to end-users experiencing hardware, software, or network problems.
• Diagnose issues accurately and guide users through step-by-step solutions.
• Install, configure, and update software and operating systems as required.
• Document support tickets, resolutions, and user guides with thorough detail.
• Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support staff when necessary.
