Placements24 is seeking a motivated IT Helpdesk Technician to join a fully remote support team. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues across the organization, ensuring minimal disruption and strong service delivery from a home office.

You’ll work with Windows and macOS, MS Office, and remote tools, providing timely resolutions, maintaining documentation, and contributing to IT knowledge bases while supporting colleagues nationwide.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma; IT certs are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in IT helpdesk/tech support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS; MS Office.
• Familiar with network troubleshooting and peripherals.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide first-level support via phone, email, and remote tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, and mobiles.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners.
• Respond promptly to tickets based on impact and urgency.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.
• Maintain records of requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist with user account management and IT documentation.
