Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote IT Helpdesk Specialist to support a distributed team from a home office. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, using remote access tools to resolve problems and maintain system availability.

The role requires 2+ years in IT helpdesk, proficiency with Windows/macOS, and strong English communication. A home office with reliable internet is essential; CompTIA A+ is a plus.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years in IT helpdesk or technical support.
• Proficiency with Windows and macOS, and office productivity software.
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP networking.
• Familiarity with TeamViewer, AnyDesk and ticketing systems.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• A dedicated home office with reliable high-speed internet.
• CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide remote technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently using remote access tools.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
• Assist users with account management, password resets, and access permissions.
• Document support activities, resolutions, and user feedback in the ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed.
• Contribute to IT knowledge base by creating and updating documentation.
• Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to SLAs.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and IT support best practices.
