Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand market reach across South Africa from a fully remote setup. Drive new business, strategic partnerships and revenue growth by identifying prospects, crafting tailored proposals and closing deals with key clients in the insurance sector.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in BD/sales within financial services, strong insurance knowledge, and excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance-related field (MBA a plus).
• Minimum 5 years in BD, sales or account management in insurance/financial services.
• Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets in B2B.
• Strong insurance product knowledge and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated, able to work remotely and travel occasionally.

• Identify and prospect new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the insurance sector.
• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
