Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Remote Insurance Product Manager to drive the strategy and roadmap of our insurance portfolio. This fully remote role is based near Stellenbosch and requires coordinating with engineering, marketing, actuarial and sales teams to bring innovative insurance solutions to market.

The ideal candidate has extensive product management experience in insurance or financial services, strong leadership, and a proven track record in remote environments.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in product management within insurance/financial services.
Ability to define strategy, roadmaps and launch products.
Experience leading remote teams and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Define product vision, strategy and roadmap for insurance portfolio.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis and segmentation.
Translate strategy into requirements for development teams.
Prioritize initiatives based on value and impact.
Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales and actuarial.
Lead and mentor product managers and analysts remotely.
