Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead HRIS initiatives and optimize HR processes for a fast-growing international e-commerce company. This remote role within South Africa requires managing HR data accuracy, driving process improvements, and delivering clear HR analytics for decision-making.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years in HR operations, with at least 5 years in HRIS, and be adept at working with major HRIS platforms while ensuring compliance with SA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IS/CS/HR/Business Admin or related field.
• 7+ years in HR operations, with 5+ years in HRIS management/implementation.
• Experience with leading HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and process-mapping skills.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and administration of the HRIS platform.
• Lead HRIS implementation, upgrades, and integrations with other systems.
• Identify and implement HR process improvements and best-practice solutions.
• Develop, maintain documentation for HR processes and system usage.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and accurate HR data across systems.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports and analytics for decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless system functionality and data flow.
• Provide training to HR staff and employees on HRIS usage and processes.
• Stay current with HR tech trends and recommend innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour laws pertaining to HR data and processes.
