Placements24 is partnering with a globally recognized e-commerce leader to hire a Remote HR Operations Manager. The role oversees HR processes, HRIS, policies, onboarding/offboarding, payroll, benefits and compliance in a remote-first environment.

Based in Durban, you will drive efficiency and ensure a seamless employee experience. You will lead HR metrics, audits, and continuous improvement, collaborating with global stakeholders while applying SA labor law and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business management or related field.
• 5+ years in HR operations management, with remote or distributed teams.
• Proven HRIS implementation/management experience (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM).
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills; strong communication.
• Autonomous work style; able to manage workload remotely.
• Experience in e-commerce/tech is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations across the organization.
• Manage and optimize HRIS data accuracy, integrity and security.
• Develop, implement and enforce HR policies compliant with SA labor laws.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding processes for a positive employee experience.
• Manage payroll, benefits, and leave administration with accuracy.
• Coordinate HR compliance initiatives, audits and reporting.
• Serve as point of contact for employees and managers on HR matters.
• Develop HR metrics and reporting to track KPIs for leadership.
• Drive continuous improvements and automation in HR operations.
