Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager for a remote-first role in South Africa. You will lead payroll, HRIS, benefits, and compliance, ensuring efficient service delivery and data integrity across the organization.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in HR or related field, 10+ years in HR operations, strong SA labor-law knowledge, and proven leadership. This role offers executive compensation, private medical, retirement benefits, and support for home-office setup.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR operations management experience.
• Expertise in HRIS, payroll, benefits administration and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of SA labour law and compliance standards.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll, benefits, and HRIS operations.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws across jurisdictions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Lead HR data reporting and analytics for senior leadership.
• Mentor the HR operations team and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance to integrate HR systems.
