Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead HRIS initiatives and optimize HR processes for a fast-growing international e-commerce company. This remote role within South Africa requires managing HR data accuracy, driving process improvements, and delivering clear HR analytics for decision-making.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years in HR operations, with at least 5 years in HRIS, and be adept at working with major HRIS platforms while ensuring compliance with SA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IS/CS/HR/Business Admin or related field.
• 7+ years in HR operations, with 5+ years in HRIS management/implementation.
• Experience with leading HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and process-mapping skills.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and administration of the HRIS platform.
• Lead HRIS implementation, upgrades, and integrations with other systems.
• Identify and implement HR process improvements and best-practice solutions.
• Develop, maintain documentation for HR processes and system usage.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and accurate HR data across systems.

About the Role Our client, a fast-growing international e-commerce company, is seeking a talented and experienced HR Operations Manager to lead their HRIS and process optimization initiatives. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within South Africa . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company's Human Resources Information System (HRIS), streamlining HR processes, and ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of HR data and operations. This role requires a blend of technical HR expertise, strong analytical skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of the company's HRIS platform.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in HR operations, with at least 5 years focused on HRIS management and implementation.
• Proven experience with leading HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
• Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices across the employee lifecycle.
• Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and process mapping tools.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a remote work environment.
• Familiarity with South African labour law as it pertains to HR data and processes.
