You will drive HR projects, oversee onboarding/offboarding, ensure regulatory compliance under South African labor law, manage vendors, and mentor the HR operations team in a fast-growing, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations management or a similar role.
• Proven experience in managing HRIS and other HR technologies.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and South African labor law.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the HR department for efficiency.
• Manage and optimize HRIS and other HR technology platforms.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems; generate HR reports and analytics.
• Lead HR projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and organizational change initiatives.
• Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with other HR functions to support overall HR strategy.
• Manage vendor relationships related to HR operations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the HR operations team.
