Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote HR Operations Manager to oversee HR operational functions across the business with a focus on supporting operations linked to Polokwane, Limpopo. The role requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of HR systems and compliance.

You will manage HRIS, payroll support, onboarding/offboarding, and policy development while guiding a fully remote team to deliver efficient, compliant HR services and actionable analytics for senior management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HRM or related field is required.
• 7–9 years of progressive HR operations experience, with 3+ in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience with HRIS implementation and management.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour laws and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage complex HR operations remotely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operational processes including HRIS, payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour laws; maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
• Lead HRIS optimization to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and implement HR policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Finance/Payroll to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
• Lead remote HR operations team and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and present HR operational reports/analytics to senior management.
