Qualifications

• Master's degree in HRM or related field is required.
• 7–9 years of progressive HR operations experience, with 3+ in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience with HRIS implementation and management.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour laws and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage complex HR operations remotely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operational processes including HRIS, payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour laws; maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
• Lead HRIS optimization to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Collaborate with Finance/Payroll to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.

About the Role

Our client is a rapidly expanding organisation seeking a highly competent and experienced Remote HR Operations Manager to oversee and streamline its HR operational functions. This position is fully remote, offering the opportunity to manage HR operations with a focus on supporting our client's significant presence in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of HR services, including HRIS management, compliance, payroll support, and onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of HR operations, and a proven ability to manage processes and systems remotely. This role is critical for maintaining operational excellence and supporting employee lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all HR operational processes, including HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and onboarding/offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with all South African labour laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
• Manage and optimise the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and implement HR operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Finance and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits.
• Lead and mentor the HR operations team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative remote work environment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within HR operations.
• Manage HR record-keeping and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive experience.
• Develop and present HR operational reports and analytics to senior management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-9 years of progressive experience in HR operations, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
