Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled HR Generalist to provide fully remote support to a diverse workforce. You will handle employee relations, recruitment support, policy implementation, and HR data management in a virtual environment, ensuring a smooth employee experience.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in HRM or related field, with at least 4 years of HR Generalist experience and a solid understanding of South African labor law (BCEA, LRA, EEA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Admin or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
• Experience with employee relations, recruitment administration, and HR policies.
• Solid understanding of South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers across departments.
• Manage employee relations issues, investigations and conflict resolution.
• Assist with recruitment from posting to screening and onboarding coordination.
• Administer HR policies and ensure consistent application.
• Maintain confidential employee records in the HRIS.
• Support compensation and benefits administration.
• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with SA labor laws and company regulations.
• Contribute to HR projects and policy updates.
• Promote engagement and a positive remote work culture.
