Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote HR Generalist to support expanding international operations from anywhere in South Africa. You will provide full-cycle HR support, manage employee relations and recruitment, and ensure compliance with SA labor laws and international HR practices.

A strong communicator with remote-work experience is essential. You will help drive performance management, policy development for a remote workforce, and talent development across global teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years progressive HR Generalist/HRBP experience.
• Proven employee relations, performance management and recruitment experience.
• Strong knowledge of SA labor law and international HR practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-cycle HR support to employees and managers remotely.
• Handle employee relations issues, investigations and policy guidance across time zones.
• Support performance management processes including goal setting and reviews.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding for new hires, ensuring positive candidate experience.
• Ensure compliance with SA labor laws and relevant international HR regulations.
• Develop and implement remote-work policies and procedures.
• Serve as HR point of contact for queries and support needs.
• Contribute to talent management, development and succession planning.
• Utilize HRIS and other tools to manage data and processes.
• Promote strong culture and engagement across distributed teams including Paarl region.
