Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Generalist for a fully remote role anywhere in South Africa. The ideal candidate will manage the full employee lifecycle, implement HR policies, and ensure compliance with SA labor laws while supporting management on HR matters.

The role requires 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HRBP experience, strong communication, and proficiency in HRIS and MS Office. You will collaborate with recruitment and contribute to HR training and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as HR Generalist or HRBP.
• Thorough knowledge of South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, etc.) and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding with compliant processes.
• Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance and retirement plans.
• Develop and implement HR policies in line with SA labor law and company guidelines.
• Provide guidance on HR-related matters including employee relations and performance management.
• Conduct HR investigations and resolve disputes in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate employee records using the HRIS system.
• Collaborate with recruitment to attract and retain top talent.
• Contribute to HR training programs and analytics for management.
