Placements24 is seeking a remote HR Generalist for a South Africa-based e-commerce platform. You will support employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, policy implementation, and compliance for a fully remote team across SA.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in HRM or related field, 4+ years of HR Generalist experience, strong knowledge of SA labor law, excellent communication, and a proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as an HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience in employee relations, recruitment support, and onboarding.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in HRIS and standard office software.
• Experience in e-commerce or tech environment is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.
• Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and provide guidance on disciplinary procedures.
• Support talent acquisition: posting jobs, candidate screening, onboarding logistics.
• Administer HR policies to ensure consistent and fair application.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure data privacy compliance.
• Assist in HR initiatives related to employee engagement, performance management, and development.
• Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and provide best practices guidance.
• Respond to employee queries on HR matters.
• Participate in HR projects and drive continuous improvement of HR processes.
• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding for remote employees.
