Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist to support our remote team delivering HR services across South Africa. You will drive HR processes, policy compliance, and employee experience from anywhere in the country.

The role requires 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, strong knowledge of SA labour laws, and excellence in remote communication. You will collaborate with a distributed workforce using digital tools and HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for remote engagement.
• Proficiency with HRIS software and digital collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Dedicated home office setup with reliable internet.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day HR operations for a remote workforce, including recruitment, onboarding, data management, and offboarding.
• Serve as first contact for HR inquiries, guiding policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Administer employee benefits programs and help with enrollment and claims.
• Support performance management, goal setting, feedback, and development for remote staff.
• Develop and implement HR policies to ensure compliance and improve employee experience.
• Handle employee relations with discretion and mediation as needed.
• Maintain accurate records using HRIS and other systems.
• Contribute to HR projects to boost remote engagement and development.
• Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and regulations.
