Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote HR Coordinator to join our fully remote team, providing essential administrative support to the HR department. You will manage employee records, assist recruitment, coordinate onboarding, and handle employee queries from anywhere in South Africa.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years HR support experience, strong IT skills, and excellent communication for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of HR support experience, preferably remote.
• Proficiency with HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote work.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate employee records and HR databases remotely.
• Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
• Coordinate onboarding of new hires, ensuring all paperwork and system access are in place.
• Provide first-level HR support to employees, addressing policy/procedure inquiries.
• Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations.
• Facilitate virtual HR events and training sessions.
