Placements24 is hiring a Remote HR Specialist focused on Compliance to ensure adherence to labor laws and internal HR policies across operations. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, conducting audits, and guiding management on complex issues from a fully remote setup.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Law or HR, 5+ years of HR experience in compliance, deep SA labor law knowledge, and strong analytical and risk-management skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HR with a specialization in HR compliance.
• Strong knowledge of SA labor law and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with national and international labor laws.
• Conduct regular HR compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues and grievances.
• Provide expert advice and training to management and employees on HR compliance matters.
• Stay abreast of changes in legislation and update policies accordingly.
• Manage compliance reporting requirements and maintain documentation.
