Placements24 is seeking a highly diligent Remote HR Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to labor laws across its operations. The role is fully remote, requiring strong communication to liaise with internal teams and external bodies.

You will develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, conduct audits, and provide expert guidance on legal and regulatory matters affecting HR. This critical function safeguards ethical practices and ensures compliant operations for all employees,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law, HR, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in HR compliance, legal, or regulatory affairs.
In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and related legislation.
Proven experience developing and implementing compliance programs.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting with multiple priorities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain HR compliance policies and procedures across all areas.
Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations and advise on adjustments.
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with employment laws and policies.
Manage regulatory inquiries and investigations.
Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on compliance topics.
Maintain records of compliance activities and prepare reports for senior management.
