Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote HR Compliance Officer to ensure HR practices align with local and international labor laws across South Africa. The role focuses on risk management, policy development, and compliance training from a remote setting.

You will monitor adherence, conduct audits, and lead investigations as needed. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Law or HR and at least 5 years in HR compliance or labor-law roles, with strong knowledge of SA legislation and international

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, HR or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR compliance, labor-law, or a related role.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, BBBEE) and audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HR compliance programs and policies.
• Ensure adherence to SA labor laws and regulations.
• Conduct audits of HR practices to identify gaps and address compliance.
• Manage investigations of compliance-related concerns and grievances.
• Deliver training on HR compliance to employees and managers.
• Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and advise HR accordingly.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
• Collaborate with legal counsel to mitigate risk and ensure legal compliance.
• Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
