Placements24 is seeking a highly diligent Remote HR Compliance Officer with extensive knowledge of South African labor law to ensure regulatory adherence across operations. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, conducting audits, and advising on HR policies from a fully remote setup.

The candidate will possess 5+ years in HR compliance, in-depth BCEA, LRA, EEA, and SDA knowledge, and strong analytical, communication, and HRIS skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in HR compliance, with a strong focus on South African labor law.
• In-depth knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA, and SDA.
• Proven experience in conducting HR audits and risk assessments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and relevant compliance software.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and ethical conduct.
• Experience in dispute resolution and CCMA processes is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HR compliance programs and policies.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues, employee grievances, and potential violations of regulations.
• Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and update policies accordingly.
• Provide expert advice and training to management and employees on HR compliance matters.
• Manage the development and implementation of Affirmitive Action plans and EE reporting.
• Oversee disciplinary and grievance processes to ensure fairness and legal compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Promote a culture of ethical conduct and compliance throughout the organization.
• Assist in preparing for and responding to CCMA and other tribunal cases.
