Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Helpdesk Analyst to join our IT support team. You will be the first point of contact for users, providing remote assistance to Durban and other locations, and helping maintain our IT infrastructure.

The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, strong technical knowledge of Windows and macOS, and experience with ticketing systems. You will document solutions, create user guides, and ensure timely resolution of issues while working independently in a

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Helpdesk Analyst or similar IT support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS.
Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective user support.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues via remote channels.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly, escalating complex issues when necessary.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
Assist users with account management, password resets, and access permissions.
Document technical solutions and create user guides for common issues.
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT equipment.
