Job summary

Sunbird® Agricultural Lighting Systems is seeking an experienced Remote Sales Executive to drive international growth from a fully remote setup. You will identify new markets, build client relationships, and negotiate contracts with distributors and retailers worldwide.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FMCG sales, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce. Remote, international travel as needed, based from South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or related field.
• At least 5 years in sales with international FMCG experience.
• Proven track record achieving international quotas.
• Ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new leads and business opportunities in target international markets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to ensure profitable outcomes.
• Conduct market research to understand competitive landscape, customer needs, and market trends.
• Collaborate with internal marketing, product, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and market insights to management.
• Represent the company professionally at virtual trade shows and client meetings.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices in FMCG sales and international trade.
