Placements24 is seeking an accomplished FP&A Manager to lead a remote FP&A function for a growth-focused technology firm. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, building sophisticated models and providing strategic insights to executives from anywhere in South Africa.

The role requires 7+ years in FP&A, strong modeling, and experience with modern planning tools. You will collaborate with multiple departments, manage a remote team, and influence key financial decisions

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in FP&A with emphasis on forecasting and modeling.
• MBA or professional finance qualification preferred.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and scenario analysis.
• Strong software skills: Anaplan/Adaptive Insights/Cognos and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models for scenario planning.
• Analyze performance vs. budget and forecast; identify trends and drivers.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with business units to understand financial needs and provide strategic support.
• Improve FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies for efficiency.
• Monitor key financial and operational metrics; identify risks and opportunities.
• Support M&A due diligence and integration activities.
• Mentor junior finance team members in a remote setting.
• Ensure data integrity for planning and analysis.
