Placements24 is seeking a dynamic FP&A Manager for a fully remote role based in South Africa. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and modeling while delivering strategic insights across sales, marketing, and operations.

You will drive KPI dashboards, partner with departments, and mentor junior staff in a remote-first environment. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in FP&A or related fields, with finance certifications preferred and strong communication skills to influence senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive FP&A or related experience.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce models and KPIs.
• Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) and advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience managing remote teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop sophisticated financial models for strategic initiatives and scenario planning.
• Prepare monthly financial performance reports with variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to support financial needs.
• Identify KPIs and build dashboards to track performance.
• Improve reporting infrastructure for efficiency and accuracy.
• Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.
• Mentor junior FP&A members in a remote setting.
• Align financial plans with overall strategic goals.
