Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Lead Management Accountant to steer FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting. This fully remote role collaborates with a distributed team to drive strategic financial decisions and improve profitability across all business units.

You will lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts, profitability analyses, cost management and investment appraisal, while developing robust management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CIMA/CMA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in management accounting, FP&A.
• Demonstrated experience in leading financial reporting and analysis for complex organizations, preferably in a remote setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for all business units.
• Provide in-depth financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost management, and investment appraisal.
• Develop and enhance management reporting frameworks to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs and provide regular updates on financial performance against strategic goals.
• Collaborate with departmental heads to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
• Oversee the financial modeling for new projects and strategic initiatives.
