Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Social Worker to deliver family support services from home. Based out of George, Western Cape, you will assess needs, develop intervention plans, and connect families with community resources.

You will collaborate with a virtual care team, use video conferencing, maintain electronic records, advocate for clients, and stay compliant with SACSSP standards in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• MSW degree or equivalent qualification.
• Registered with SACSSP.
• 5+ years post-qualifying experience in family support/case management.
• Experience working remotely or with virtual tools.
• Proficient in video conferencing (Zoom/Teams) and electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments with families via virtual platforms.
• Develop, implement and monitor family support plans.
• Provide remote crisis intervention and case management.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and support groups.
• Connect families with community resources and services.
