Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, or related discipline.
Experience working with families in a support or advisory capacity.
Excellent virtual communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in video conferencing.
Able to manage caseloads and document work using digital tools.
Understanding of Durban region challenges.
Self-motivated and able to work independently remotely.

Responsibilities

Conduct remote needs assessments to understand family dynamics and challenges.
Develop and deliver tailored support plans to enhance family functioning.
Offer virtual guidance on parenting, child development, and communication skills.
Connect families with local resources (EDP programs, financial aid, healthcare).
Maintain confidential digital records of client interactions and progress.
Facilitate online group sessions or workshops for families.
