Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Remote Events Coordinator to plan and execute virtual and in-person events from home in Pietermaritzburg. You will oversee conception, budgeting, logistics and post-event analysis, ensuring engaging experiences for attendees and stakeholders.

The role requires mastery of virtual platforms such as Zoom, Hopin, and Cvent, strong organization, multitasking, and clear communication with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Events Coordinator or similar role, preferably remote.
• Experience with Zoom, Hopin or Cvent and project management tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual and hybrid events, including webinars, conferences, and team-building activities.
• Develop event budgets, track expenses, and manage vendor relationships for virtual platforms and venues.
• Create engaging event content and promotional materials, coordinating with marketing teams for outreach.
• Manage event logistics, including registration, scheduling, speaker coordination, and technical support for virtual attendees.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and provide detailed reports on event success and areas for improvement.
