Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative and highly organized Remote Event Planner & Coordinator to handle the entire lifecycle of virtual and in-person events. The role requires strong project management, detail orientation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.

You will liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver engaging events on budget and schedule, contributing to the client’s event portfolio and brand presence across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Planner or Event Coordinator, with a portfolio showcasing successful events.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and virtual event platforms.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of events, including virtual conferences, webinars, and in-person gatherings.
• Develop event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and secure necessary resources.
• Create detailed event timelines and manage all deadlines effectively.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop event promotion strategies and materials.
• Oversee event logistics, including venue selection (for in-person events), A/V requirements, and attendee registration.
• Provide on-site support or remote support for virtual event platforms.
