Placements24 is seeking a Remote Educational Technology Specialist to join a globally distributed team. You will provide expert technical support for LMS platforms, train faculty and staff, and guide the integration of educational technologies across diverse courses and initiatives.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration across time zones, developing training resources, and evaluating new ed-tech solutions to enhance student engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in an educational technology support or specialist role.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard) and administration.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for educational technology tools and platforms.
• Assist faculty and staff in integrating technology into teaching and learning activities.
• Develop and deliver training sessions and resources on educational technologies and LMS features.
• Evaluate and recommend new educational technologies to enhance pedagogy and student engagement.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and configurations within LMS and other educational platforms.
• Collaborate with IT departments and vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system updates.
• Maintain documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles related to educational technology.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in educational technology and digital learning.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of the organization's ed-tech roadmap.
